- Find and manage new vendors in order to meet organizational supply needs.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure the organization is getting the best deal.
- Manage daily purchasing operations and ensure the quality of goods and services meets organizational standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies for all purchasing operations.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in purchasing practices.
- Monitor and manage the organization's budget for purchasing.
- Track and report on purchasing metrics.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors.
- Identify opportunities for process and cost improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- 2 years in the construction industry
- At least 2 years of experience in a purchasing or supply chain management role.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of purchasing regulations and industry standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
