We are a Manufacturing Company, headquartered in Evansville, Wisconsin, and founded in 1873. Today, we consist of three divisions: Baker Water Systems, which produces water well accessories and filtration products for residential, municipal and industrial use; Haight Pump, which designs and produces gear pumps for the OEM and process market; and Baker Casting, which pours iron castings for OEMs and machine shops. In addition to the Evansville, Wisconsin headquarters, we have facilities in Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin; Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania; and Largo, Florida
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for improving the quality of operations processes and outputs. This individual will implement effective quality controls to achieve goals for strategic/long-term quality planning.
What You Will Be Doing
- Review and update current procedures and work instructions as well as write new procedures/work instructions
- Identifying the root cause and/or corrective action implementation/effectiveness verification
- Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues
- Assist in developing and implementing quality systems
- Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products
- Develop and implement quality standards of product lines
What You Need For This Position
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field, and/or equivalent experience
- 3 years of professional experience in manufacturing
