- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Must-Have:** Accredited Associate's Degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program
- Schedule patients for hospital transportation and coordinate with anesthesia, medical, surgical, and other teams to minimize patient delays.
- Create procedural orders as necessary and confirm patient identity and procedural consent.
- Share information with attending physicians regarding acceptable lab values and procedure contraindications.
- Maintain documentation of procedures performed and supplies used, and input necessary procedural information.
- Ensure accurate procedural coding based on diagnostics and intervention.
- Complete image manipulation and transmission using various imaging systems, and import prior CT scan data for real-time mapping.
- Provide high-quality multi-modality imaging support during procedures.
- Operate and maintain various imaging and procedural equipment, performing quality assurance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Describe exams to patients and assist with positioning and monitoring during procedures.
- Assist in maintaining sterile technique and supply management during procedures.
- Administer and document pharmaceuticals and practice optimal radiation protection.
- Ensure proper handling of specimens and apply post-procedural dressings.
