Job Description: Pay Range: $84000yr - $116000yr
- Review analyses and designs, and investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering project.
- Serve as Project Manager or Technical Advisor on small-to-medium projects in the area of expertise.
- Evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services.
- Collaborate in site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated Engineering areas.
- Assist in the development and evaluation of Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) for capital funding.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline from an accredited curriculum and three (3) years of experience in an applicable Engineering field of expertise, OR.
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline from an accredited curriculum and two (2) years of experience in an applicable Engineering field of expertise.
- Knowledge in the principles and practices of Civil, Geotechnical, Structural, or Hydrologic Engineering or a related field of Science or Engineering.
- Knowledge of appropriate software (MS Office, AutoCAD, RISA 3D).
- Certified Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to a diversely educated audience.
- Present a positive, professional image.
- Self-motivated, energetic, able to execute, and client-service oriented.
- Be able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety of yourself and others.
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Experience in structural design and analysis including structural steel and the use of the AISC code, as well as structural concrete and the use of the ACI code.
- Project management experience in an industrial setting including scope development, cost estimating, scheduling, construction oversight, implementation, and commissioning.
