*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QC Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with various manufacturing processes.
*Responsabilities*
- Monitor product quality status daily.
- Take immediate containment actions to resolve quality issues with suppliers, production lines, and customer sites.
- Lead the analysis of key quality issues and draft both short-term and long-term improvement plans, ensuring their implementation.
- Participate in project launches through APQP, coordinate PPAP preparation, and submit documentation to customers.
- Prepare control plans, inspection instructions, gauges, and checking fixtures; train operators and inspectors accordingly.
- Guide field service workers in resolving customer site quality issues and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Draft and organize the implementation of annual product test plans.
- Draft and organize the implementation of product audit plans.
- Analyze and resolve customer warranty issues.
- Ensure all quality actions comply with the ISO9001 Quality Management System.
*Education/Experience*
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or higher.
- Knowledge of ISO9001; familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, and SPC.
- 1 to 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing facility.
