Janitor - Mt. Home (Full Time)

This is a Full Time Position

Job Summary:  Provide direct janitorial service by cleaning and maintaining the sales floor and all areas throughout the building.  

Essential Functions/Duties:

• Clean all surface areas throughout the store including restrooms, break room, offices, warehouse and sales floor
• Sweep, mop, dust, wipe, etc., areas using designated cleaners, supplies, and equipment for appropriate surfaces
• Stock restroom supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) as needed
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed
• Provide deep cleaning to toilets, urinals, bathroom stalls, sinks and floor surfaces  
• Maintain a clean environment throughout the entire building
• Other duties as assigned by store management

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience: Previous experience in janitorial services is preferred, not required.  

Required Education/Certification: High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred not required.

Other Requirements:  Due to the physical nature of this job, you will be required to bend, stoop, kneel, stand, walk, climb, crawl, wipe, scrub, reach, push, pull, etc. and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.  Most duties will be less than 25 lbs of lifting.  Must be able to use proper cleaning tools/equipment needed to perform duties.
