D&C Home Care Company, Inc, Maine's largest in-home care company is growing! We are actively seeking a full-time Service Coordinator to work in our Scarborough location. This is a fast paced position requiring excellent problem solving skills, customer service skills and empathy. Previous experience with scheduling and customer service is a plus!

The Service Coordinator is responsible for coordination of services and scheduling client visits, also communicating service delivery information to clients and employees in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers all incoming calls and transfers to the appropriate person.
- Performs scheduling of all client visits per company scheduling protocol.
- Provide On-Call coverage one weekend per month.
- Keeps accurate Call Log information for incoming calls and/or Client Waitlist.
- Approves all employee visits in Practice Management program. Obtains paper visit reports (from employees) when necessary.
- Files all company documentation. Files all visit reports and client paperwork in the client chart in the appropriate place in chronological order.
- Responsible for copying client forms, creating open packets, and sending/faxing out informational brochures and employment applications.
- Completes General Orientation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- All candidates must possess at least three years of employment experience in customer service, human relations or a related field.
- Candidates must be proficient in using Microsoft Office suite.
- Have ability to problem solve, work collaboratively with other professionals, family members, and individuals in the community and accept personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the company’s clients and the client’s families.
- Must be able to function in an environment with minimal direct supervision.
- Must accept responsibility for learning and adhering to the agency’s policies and procedures on an on-going basis.
- Ability to meet agency’s conditions of employment regarding health clearance and provision of satisfactory work.
A criminal background will be performed on all employees. Employment is contingent upon a clean criminal background.
Scope of Position: Reports to Office Manager.
