What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deal Spot Sales Support position at D&H?
SUMMARY
- Responsible for the administrative duties & refurbishment process management within the Deal Spot team which play a critical part in sales growth and product recovery management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Have a thorough understanding of D&H systems (CCA, CRM, Web, SharePoint) and D&H departments and functions.
- Can identify and solve problems independently.
- Have a thorough understanding of and can easily navigate through manufacturer platform spec sheets & BOMs (Bill of Materials)
- Administrative duties:
o SKU creation – accurately complete the new item setup form with all necessary product detail (descriptions, etc.) for new SKU creation.
o Refurbishment BOMs – accurately create product BOMs (Bill of Materials) to be utilized during the refurbishment process for product validation, product labeling, and accessory kitting.
o Rebates – collaborate with sales manager & rebates team to load rebates as required.
o Retailer SKU Setups – collaborate with sales manager to identify SKUs that need to be manually setup with resellers. Assign setups accordingly to Sr. Sales Specialists.
- Refurbishment Process Management:
o Collaborate weekly with refurbishment partner and internal teams to receive finished refurbished inventory into stock.
o Create weekly reporting for actionable returns & liquidation inventory eligible for refurbishment process. Submit to sales manager for review and SKU approval.
o Track outbound aging inventory with refurbishment partner. Provide updates to inventory control team as needed.
o Provide feedback as needed for continuous improvement/refinement of refurbishment process. Collaborate with internal teams as needed to help implement improvements.
o Collaborate with sales & refurbishment partner to resolve any customer service issues (i.e., missing parts, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years’ experience in a sales or operations role
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs required.
- Requires professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience with IT products, consumer electronics and/or houseware products is preferable.
- Previous experience with refurbished and/or closeout products is highly desired, but not required.
