What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at D2iQ?
D2iQ is hiring a Program Manager who will provide support for D2iQ’s DKP platform engineering team. In this role, you will work on our engineering operations team to plan, and drive execution of software development releases using the software development lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively, with input from different teams and departments, take information and turn it into actionable processes.
- Document existing processes clearly, audit, and report on adherence to process, and identify where areas of improvement are needed.
- Independently use judgment to identify and escalate key risks on complex cross-functional projects.
- Anticipate and drive alignment of priorities- work proactively vs. reactive.
- Create and maintain reports, and provide visibility into project status across all stakeholders.
- Think big picture and weigh the consequences before implementing a decision.
- Provide accurate and thorough information to multiple levels of management, keeping objectives clear, and team accountability high.
- Proactively anticipate roadblocks far enough in advance to fix them before they become a serious issue.
- Be an agile champion.
- Create an environment of mutual influence and respect.
- Understand JIRA environment and how to use it, like changes to our workflows, projects, add-ons, automations, etc.
- Coordinate release activities and deadlines, milestones and timelines with engineering teams.
- Able to independently prioritize work to meet business objectives.
Requirements
- 4 years of project and program management experience.
- Experience thriving in a fast paced environment.
- A hunger to tackle complicated and impactful product & business problems.
- Conscientious and action-oriented, embraces deadlines and works creatively to get the job done.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree.
- Experience in an iterative or agile software development environment.
- Experience with Scrum (or Kanban) and its artifacts like Sprint Planning, and facilitating retrospectives.
- Knowledge or experience with scale agile framework (SAFe, Spotify model, LeSS) is a plus.
