DA Financial is seeking an Insurance Account Administrative Assistant:
- Perform general administrative and executive assistant tasks.
- Part-time (20-25 hours), onsite, Monday-Friday, 9am to 2pm, with some flexibility
- Hourly rate starting at $32 (commensurate with experience)
- Reports directly to the owner of the company
The ideal candidate can remain highly organized and patient across fluctuating priorities. You have the ability to communicate well with clients, carriers, and vendors. This position is in the small office setting of an established insurance broker in Orinda, Ca.
The position:
· Maintains professionalism while interacting with clients and vendors
· Creates mailings and organizes proposals and reports.
· Updates FileMaker database for case tracking
· Performs a wide variety of administrative work including filing, scheduling, basic bookkeeping, letter writing, ordering of office supplies.
· Manages Accounts Payable/Receivable and paying of office bills
· Has great potential for growth as you establish relationships with clients and carriers
What you’ll need:
· 2 years of office experience in an Insurance or Financial Services setting
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word) and Google Suite
· Clear communication and customer service skills– verbal and written
· Experience using office equipment such as printers, fax machine, Cisco phone systems, with the ability to troubleshoot tech issues and find working solutions
· FileMaker or similar database experience HIGHLY preferred.
