The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Administrator will support Daher’s HRIS applications and modules and support the daily functions of the Human Resource Department including case management, data tracking, compliance and reporting. This role will have the opportunity to primarily support the North American HRIS tools as well as work directly with our global team to support global projects. This role is critical as the organization continues to evolve and grow in North America.As an HRIS Administrator, you will be responsible for delivering HR technology solutions that align with business strategies, while enabling efficiency, and promoting cross-company collaborative innovation. The HRIS Administrator will represent human resources interests as a participant in the organization by managing major projects, system upgrades, or other business initiatives. This position serves as a technical point of contact and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Administrator must exhibit strong security and confidentiality practices.
Job description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather requirements and translate those business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Workday platform.
- Supports the review, design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Workday module(s) upgrades and releases of the following functional areas: HCM, Talent, Recruiting and other potential areas as we deploy to North America.
- Supports UKG payroll and Time tracking technology throughout North America, including US, Canada and Mexico.
- Collaborate with leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions.
- Partner with the global HRIS team to configure system upgrades and develop new functionality while ensuring communication with all Workday and UKG users.
- Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
- Carry out testing activities and recommend solutions, or alternate methods, to meet business requirements.
- Supervise the input of and ensure the integrity of highly confidential employee data.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Create and maintain documentation on Business Processes, configuration, and other resources as needed.
- Compile or assist with the creation of complex reports.
- Serve as representative and liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
- Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Manage tickets with Workday and UKG, consultants and internal systems as needed
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business or Computer Science
- 3 Years HRIS administration or related experience
- Experience capturing requirements and documenting business processes
- Proficiency in English is required
- Basic French is required
- Must exhibit strong security and confidentiality practices.
- Ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues.
- Must enjoy challenging and thought-provoking work and have a strong desire to learn and progress (motivated to self-learn).
- Must be comfortable working in a growing organization where processes are still being defined.
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills.
- Strong analytical and technical abilities.
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage change effectively, always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications.
Preferred Experience
- Workday and UKG experience preferred
- Experience working in a global organization and supporting global HRIS projects
- Experience working with US, Canada and Mexico
Work Environment
This role could operate remotely in the Southeast United States considering the proximity to our US offices or from our Montreal, QC office.
