- Hours : 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm, Monday Friday (some flexibility on start and end times)
- Pay Rate : $50.00-$55.00 per hour, based on skills & experience
Copywriting & Content Specialist Job Summary :
The Copywriting & Content Specialist is responsible for product copywriting and content creation on websites and marketplaces in order to drive traffic, conversion and revenue while maintaining a brand voice.
They will leverage their superb writing skills and digital experience to produce engaging content for Amazon stores, sites, and other digital channels.
They will work as part of a cross-functional team to deliver high quality content for accessories, service parts, and apparel items in the digital catalog.
What you will do as the Copywriting & Content Specialist :
- Write product descriptions, titles, bullets, and other product assets which will best communicate the features, benefits, and attributes of our products, using appropriate brand voice(s) for each product
- Gather and implement product information (specs, images, attribution, etc.) in a deadline driven environment
- Execute the process for creating original web-optimized product descriptions to drive online sales
- Complete product attribution to drive online merchandising
- Apply and update style guides to ensure consistent product presentation within category
- Partner with SEO team to implement SEO best practices, and review business results and upcoming initiatives to support category of business
- Own the brand voice when creating written content for Amazon or company sites
- Act on content-related customer service issues and incorporate customer feedback to improve and enhance web experience
- Identify, plan and deliver product page enhancements (size charts, tech specs, videos, etc.) that aid in customer buying decision
- Participate as subject matter expert within various content disciplines to drive process improvements and improve style guides based on expertise
What you will bring to the Copywriting & Content Specialist :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related experience
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience working as an E-commerce Content Specialist and / or copywriter, preferably with a focus on marketplaces and SEO
- Experience writing product content for Amazon required; experience with other marketplaces is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and technical SEO
- Experience with SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or Moz
- Strong understanding of e-commerce marketplaces, their algorithms, and best practices for optimization
- Experience with style guides and detailed content standards (including generating standards and implementing them)
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) required
Salary : $50 - $55
