Human Resource Assistant Job Description:
The Human Resource Assistant will provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions. This position will be auditing I-9s of new hires in the Workday (HRIS) system as we work to transition to a new I-9 completion process. Once we are using the new process, this role will still be highly involved in I-9s but will start to take on additional HR-shared service responsibilities.

Human Resource Assistant Job Description:
The Human Resource Assistant will provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions. This position will be auditing I-9s of new hires in the Workday (HRIS) system as we work to transition to a new I-9 completion process. What you’ll do as a Human Resource Assistant:
- Audit of new hire I-9s
- Work with the I-9 remediation process and finalize I-9’s in the Workday system
- Partner with critical stakeholders such as HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and functional teams to support employees, provide information, and resolve cases
- Create knowledge management to support employee direct access to information
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work
- Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents
- File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports
- Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails
- Prepare responses to correspondence containing routing inquiries
What you’ll bring to the Human Resource Assistant role:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous HR experience required
- Previous experience working in solutions like Workday, case management or customer service systems, HR Systems (Workday, People Soft), ServiceNow, Applicant Tracking Systems
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to keep information organized and confidential
