Responsibilities
Position Summary/ Primary Purpose
Reporting to the Assembly Manager, the Assembly Technician (Laborer) will assemble conveyors/ carousel components according to specific drawings, Unit Build Instructions (UBI), and layout drawings in accordance with the customer/company specifications.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Assemble conveyors/ carousel components according to specific drawings, Unit Build Instructions (UBI), and layout drawings
- Test conveyor motors and track conveyor belting on queue conveyors
- Palletize/crate conveyors & carousel components in a manner applicable to each job
- Assist in the check-in of incoming shipments/shipping of outgoing shipments as required in the shop
- Keep shop in clean and proper order
Basic Broad Knowledge
- English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
