Overview
Reporting to the President, and with a high degree of latitude and ownership, you’ll play a lead role in owning the functions of analytics and reporting, career development, employee relations, policies and procedures, talent acquisition and management, training and more
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Execute HR strategies to meet the evolving commercial needs of the businesses
- Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to business unit leaders, ensure that managers and leaders in the business coach and develop their teams.
- Manage and resolve complex Employee Relations issues
- Partner with Daifuku North America Legal counsel for any legal matters.
- Partner with Senior Leadership to plan, create and achieve operating plans and develop plans to further improve business results.
- Partner with leaders on business development activities, including organic growth.
- Lead the talent review planning for departments, ensuring effective succession planning and talent pipelining and work with departments on driving Talent actions and outcomes.
- Communicate and reinforce the company's mission and values to shape an inclusive culture where employees are empowered to show up for our customers and each other.
- Provide guidance and expertise in organization structure and design to ensure support of the short- and long-term goals of the organization.
- Identify and manage key metrics and analytics to support decisions driving the people agenda for the business.
- Build and deploy reports & dashboards that replace existing manually created reports.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Strong analytics skills, use of metrics and analytics and a bias for data-driven HR.• Strong project management capabilities and ability to drive and execute on complex change initiatives.• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced organization.• Strong commercial understanding and business pragmatism.• Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of an organization.• You can travel domestically (up to 75% / as needed) and internationally (up to 15%)• International HR experience (plus)
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or similar field (Minimum)
CERTIFICATIONS:
• GPHR (Preferred)
COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office• ADP Workforce Now, Cornerstone, ICIMs, SAP• Implementation and Data automation• Must be able to type proficiently
EXPERIENCE:
• 10 years of experience in HR or related field (e.g. HRBP, benefits, compensation, talent management)• Experiences in creating PowerPoint presentations, telling a story using data and conducting training• Working with diversity• Japanese language is a plus but not required• Experience with Federal, State, Local and International laws
