What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pricing Coordinator (Part Time) position at Dairy Farmers of America, Inc.?
Collaborative in nature, this role will be responsible for generating pricing for finished goods across multiple product optimization groups. Work closely with other members of the Pricing team, Plant Operations and Procurement/Logistics to standardize cost accounting and drive financial reporting down to a Customer/SKU level for further analysis.
- This is a part-time position,and the candidate can be based remotely.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review price requests and work with Optimization to ensure assumptions align with required margin parameters
- Leverage financial background to assist in standardizing costs and monthly cost rolls
- Develop base COGS models to utilize in setting weekly price lists and margin targets and reviewing customer profitability
- Ensure pricing models are updated with raw material, indirect costs and packaging pricing changes as determined by Procurement and Product Optimization
- Collect and analyze insights from customers on pricing
- Review all BOM/Recipe changes working to continually improve standard cost accuracy
- Assist in gathering data for customer profitability analysis and pricing analysis
- Perform financial variance reporting in conjunction with Product Optimization teams
- Participate in Product Group and Market Forecast meetings

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent or college coursework with 2 years' experience in a financial role involving standard cost analysis
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance with 1 year of experience (including internships) in a financial role involving standard cost analysis preferred
- FICO SAP experience preferred
- Certification and/or License – None
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of SAP costing and production planning
- Knowledge of COPA
- Emerging financial modeling skills
