Crew/Cake Decorator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious cakes for our customers. Your attention to detail and artistic skills will be crucial in delivering high-quality cakes that exceed our customers' expectations. Responsibilities: - Decorate cakes according to customer requests, following established recipes and guidelines - Use various techniques such as piping, fondant sculpting, and airbrushing to create intricate designs - Ensure cakes are baked and cooled properly before decorating - Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure timely production and delivery of cakes - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area - Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and placing orders as needed - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and fulfilling special requests Skills: - Strong knowledge of food production and food safety practices - Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers and fulfill their cake design requests - Proficient in various cake decorating techniques including piping, fondant sculpting, and airbrushing - Familiarity with pastry and culinary techniques for creating visually appealing designs - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Knowledge of the food industry regulations and best practices for packaging and labeling baked goods - Experience in baking is a plus If you have a passion for creating beautiful cakes that bring joy to people's lives, we would love to hear from you. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
