Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Insurance Specialist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. Your attention to detail, knowledge of dental records and coding, and ability to navigate all insurance processes will contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our practice.

Duties:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims

- Code procedures accurately

- Handle billing inquiries and resolve any issues related to insurance claims

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional manner

Experience:

- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred

- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental procedures is required

- Proficiency in insurance verification processes and coding procedures using ADA codes

- Knowledge of systems and insurance billing practices

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
