Title: Procurement SpecialistGroup: MSP
Summary The Procurement specialist applies professional principles, practices and techniques to the MSP team ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and will be responsible for driving strategic and profitable revenue for Managed Solution’s cloud practices.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales department with customer requests
- Provide exceptional customer service to Managed Solution clients/prospects
- Complete administrative duties to support departments operations.
- He or she will play a vital role in the company’s operations and will leverage superior communication and organizational skills to support key areas of the business.
- Assist sales/operations teams with contract management during pre-sales and post-sale processes.
- Coordinate with clients on Request for Proposals (RFPs), contracts, and contract changes – layout delivery schedules for hardware procurement to ensure dates are met
- Monitor schedule and supplier’s performance to dates and request date changes as needed; initiate and monitor purchase requisitions for procurement activities
- Engage with Dalechek SMEs as needed to obtain guidance / technical support for supplier
- Facilitate program status meetings with supplier, and technical and contractual meetings with supplier as needed
- Develop plan for poor performing suppliers
- Handle customer requests for hardware, software and cloud licensing, including quoting, research, vendor communication and customer communication.
Experience (Not all is required but must have strong mixture of skills)
- 3 years of experience in Procurement.
- The ideal candidate will be extremely organized and detailed oriented, and an excellent verbal and written communicator as job requires multiple internal and external interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to research and develop proficiency around detailed, technical subjects.
- Previous knowledge of contract management systems and/or procurement processes is preferred. If none, attention to details and methodical traits are required.
- Experience in utilizing internal management systems for data entry, advanced skillsets in excel and full office suite.
- Ability to handle high volumes of requests and tasks; time management; can-do attitude; and work in a team environment, across levels inside and outside the organization.
- Strong proficiency with common workplace software applications (MS Office – Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Education
- Degree from University or Trade School (Or comparable industry experience)
