We are currently seeking a Senior UX specialist who will be responsible for UX research and support UX design for our multi-product clinical flow cytometry ecosystem.
In this role you will:
Guide user research for user need discovery and definition
Lead solution concept testing
Lead usability testing
Influence product design across our entire flow cytometry ecosystem. This spans reagents, sample preparation instruments, cytometers, and analysis and workflow software
Ideal candidate will possess:
Experience in defining and executing research plans for both generative (e.g., in-depth interviews, contextual inquiry) and evaluative (e.g., surveys, usability testing) research
Proven ability to develop wireframes, prototypes, user workflows, product workflows, and high-fidelity mockups to describe, communicate, and test proposed user value
Strong conceptual and visual communication skills, have expert knowledge of interaction design and usability principles, and can balance multiple projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience -OR- Masters with 1 year of related experience in software and hardware interface design
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and other accessibility guidelines and standards
Communicating research findings to cross-functional stakeholders to support design tradeoff decisions supporting the company strategy
Primary job locations:
Due to the critical nature of this role in support of the global organizational platform and required ongoing collaboration with key stakeholders, you are eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time from your home office located within a reasonable commuting distance to one of the following Beckman Coulter locations:
Indianapolis, Indiana
Loveland, Colorado
The salary range for this role ($103,000 - $123,000 base) is min-mid range. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
