Job Description
You will lead, mentor, and grow the most effective technology company People team in the US, enabling Dandy to both efficiently hire A talent in all roles and make current Dandy teammates more productive and happy. As Head of People, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Act as the people business partner to the Dandy leadership team, supporting Dandy leaders in collaborating more effectively and achieving business outcomes as a team; and assisting our founder/CEO with assembling the best, highest performing leadership team possible
- Coach and mentor a future team of People Business Partners who each act as the Head of People for their associated departments and department heads, providing them with mentorship to enable them to do their best work and to enable the best work for their departments
- Coach and mentor the leaders of Dandy’s People team shared services - Recruiting, People Operations, and Learning, Development, & Onboarding - helping those leaders grow teams to scale with the business and provide efficient and empathetic services to all Dandy teammates
Role Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a people business partner for senior executives
- 5 years of experience as a manager with 5 direct reports and a track record of hiring A talent
- 10 years of general experience in HR shared services - people operations, recruiting, and learning & development
- Demonstrable experience leading a high performing people team
- Preferred: A degree in behavioral science or a related field
- For individuals who will be remote: A record of accomplishments in a remote role or otherwise some sense of your ability to operate effectively without being at our physical headquarters
