Job Description
Danfoss has an immediate opening for an Inventory Team Leader at our Cleveland, Tn location. The primary function of the Inventory Team Leader is to support operational activities through performing inventory accuracy reconciliation and analysis, find root cause of variances and put action plans in place to drive improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform inventory validation by auditing physical inventory locations to ensure adherence to Danfoss Inventory Policy.
- Daily communication of cycle counting and inventory accuracy performance.
- Work with cycle counters and ensures that all cycle counts targets are clearly understood and achieved.
- Resolve recurring issues and suggest enhancements related to warehouse work methods focusing on promoting efficiency, faster inventory controls and lower costs.
- Administrative duties as assigned to assist with inventory control.
- Analyze, identify, and implement opportunities for process improvement
Background & Skills
Required (basic) qualifications
- Previous exposure to Distribution / Manufacturing environment processes.
- High School or GED equivalency
- Demonstrated excellent communicating and interpersonal skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Proficient knowledge of ERP system (Mfg-Pro) and QAD application.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge and experience using problem solving tools.
- Minimum 3 years work experience.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer service oriented.
- Proficient computer skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage cultural change.
- Ability to recognize process deviations and propose corrective actions.
- Inventory management, inventory control a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to self-direct.
