Production Team Lead

Short Intro and About the Job

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Production Team Lead based in Bridgeton, NJ! 

In this role you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• Monitor hourly performance during run times and troubleshoot targeted areas having a direct impact on downtime.
• Coordinate mechanic/operator communication to effectively correct issues.
• Communicate with BU leadership if support is needed.
• Document Top 3 downtime issues per filler on email pass on communication.
• Communicate top wins and downtime issues in email pass on and at huddle meetings and effectively use resources to drive improvements needed for your team. If any issue causes 15 minutes or more of downtime you need to record the issue in your email pass on.
• Monitor Informance for proper input and accuracy.
• Communicate short term/long term issues with Business Unit leadership.
• Utilize crew effectively during CIP’s/Allergen turns/2-pack production for best resource optimization.

About You

The qualifications for this role include:

• High School diploma or GED required;
• Minimum of eight (8) years operations experience or related-industry experience required.
• Computer skills required.
• Requires ability to work in a team environment, which includes being self-motivated, accepting responsibilities, completing assigned action items, and participating in a proactive manner in all team events. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Professionalism and respect is mandatory in all settings.
