Events Coordinator
Dansons, the home of the hottest and fastest growing brands in BBQ, Pit Boss and Louisiana Grills, is seeking a talented and highly motivated Events Coordinator to join our team!
The Event Coordinator resides within the Marketing Department and will be an integral part of our success as a brand. The role will help plan, coordinate, and execute our company-wide marketing initiatives at events nationwide. The role will assist with creating and maintaining event timelines, event calendars, and coordinating schedules with our road team, and will help plan the logistics of the events, as well as the pre- and post-marketing efforts that are necessary for a successful event. These events include, but are not limited to, demonstrations, celebrity presentations, cooking shows, BBQ competitions, major tradeshows, sporting events, and retail events.
Events Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operational and logistical aspects of all Pit Boss and Louisiana Grills brand events.
- Maintain event paperwork (food license, certification, indemnity, etc.)
- Assist with the planning, scheduling and execution of event details and logistics: Including packing, shipping, ordering, set up and dismantle, staff scheduling, attendee registration, and post-event evaluation including photo, data, and ROI recaps.
- Work with vendors on scheduling and on-site responsibilities.
- Work with transportation team on shipping logistics.
- Maintain event calendars and event briefs.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously; have flexibility to work within in an ever-changing workload, travel as needed, and maintain a positive team attitude.
- Align and work cross-functionally with marketing team to execute event integration into all marketing channels.
Events Coordinator Qualifications:
- 2 years marketing events
- Experience with event coordination, food certifications, and license requirements
- Experience working with third parties and retailers to execute events
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Ability to travel up to 35% and work nights and weekends as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or Related Field

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
