Job description
Dartphone offers subsidized phone service for low-income households through the Lifeline program. We are hiring a Field / Store Lead to grow the business in the Lawton area by helping build the team, connect with community partners and organize events to distribute phones to those who qualify.
This position will be part time up to 38 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Educate and enroll qualifying customers in the Lifeline program providing FREE phone service to low-income households
· Partner with local businesses/organizations to set up tent events and locations across town to process enrollments
· Build relationships with community partners
· Cash Register reconciliations
· Distribute inventory to associates in the area as needed
· Secret shop associates to ensure compliance with rules
· Phone upgrades and accessories sales
· Wireless phone troubleshooting
· Cash Handling
· General customer service skills
· General operation and cleanliness of the store
Requirements:
· Must be at least 18 years old.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· At least 1 year Customer Service experience.
· Ability to communicate with individuals of various backgrounds.
· Strong communication skills
· Lift and/or move, push/pull up to 30 pounds.
· Ability to set up and tear down equipment such as tent, inflatable marketing materials with fan and large boxes of inventory
· Contingent on approved City Permit
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must be able to pass a background check
