Position Purpose
Engage with DartCF community to understand scientific questions under study and perform bioinformatics and statistical analyses involving genomic, transcriptomic and other ‘omics data sets. Assists with the administration and/or teaching of DartCF training program

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp
PhD or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
MS or PhD plus 2 year’s experience in bioinformatics and biostatistics. Experience with R and R Notebook (Python will be considered) Strong skills in exploratory data analysis and graphical representation of large, complex data sets, e.g., using packages such as ggplot Background in biology and familiarity with microbiology, immunology, and host-pathogen interactions as well as molecular approaches would be useful but not required.

Key Accountabilities
Description
- Develop and run data analyses in collaboration with DartCF researchers.
- Document and maintain code for rigor and reproducibility
- Lead publication of scientific papers and assist in preparation of collaborative manuscripts
- Actively develop skills, knowledge, and abilities to maintain knowledge of best practices
- Support and contribute to research proposals
- Develop and maintain documentation and manage storage of large datasets
- Facilitates availability of specialized software and analysis tools.
- Support the development and implementation of data pipelines for DartCF data
- Works to improve the Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability and Reusability of DartCF data.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and anticipate future needs
