Job Purpose:
DAS Companies is seeking a full-time Account Manager in the greater Houston area and parts of western Louisiana.
We are a family owned privately held full-service marketing company that carries its own proprietary brands and interacts with 1,000 plus vendor partners to provide products to the Travel Center and C-store channels. We market and distribute over 12,000 SKUs including items such as truck and auto supplies, travel gear, clothing, novelties, souvenirs, mobile technology, and other products related to the essential needs and comfort of both the trucker and everyday traveler.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Meet with store owners, managers, and other key employees to formulate plans for new product placement and ultimately increased sales
· Follow through with the execution of those plans via in-store visits that set new products, placement of POP and correct pricing per individual customer needs
· Monthly visits include activities of replenishment orders, processing of credits and cleaning of DAS section to satisfy general store maintenance
· Interact with team management, fellow associates, inside support, accounting, and IT departments to insure a smooth flow of product and programs for the customer
· Seek out new business to grow the account base and overall sales of assigned territory
· Participate in reset activity in your territory and outside of it when requested by management
· Attend special meetings and trade show events relevant to improving territory growth
Skills and Qualifications:
· Self-starter as the position works remotely from home and/or hotel
· Solid background of sales success and customer service
· Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at one time
· Basic computer literacy including email, Word, Excel and Outlook
· Understanding of Plan-o-Grams and some light building of displays
· Must live in the greater Houston area with a valid driver license and dependable, insured vehicle
· Flexible schedule that allows regular travel including some overnight stays
· Time management skills to effect administrative duties as well as physical activity
Physical Demands/Environment:

· Frequently required to reach with hands and arms; talk; hear.
