What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at DAS Health?
Recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in Tampa Bay nine years in a row and on the Inc. 5000 list of top privately held companies in the country for nine years, DAS Health is seeking a full-time Account Manager in or around the New England area (New Hampshire, Massachusetts, etc.)
As the primary point of contact or all clients, the Account Manager is responsible for nurturing client relationships and growing assigned accounts. Part customer service, part inside sales, the ideal Account Manager will work with physician practices to identify needs, develop out-of-the-box solutions, and maintain customer satisfaction.
Specific Job Duties Include:
- Develop trusted relationships with decisions makers and influencers to prevent and reduce churn
- Create and enforce plans that will support the goals and needs of clients
- Act as liaison between teams to problem solve and drive results within a matrixed environment
- Serve as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your clients
- Identify and grow add-on business opportunities with current clients
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Collaboration cross departmentally to ensure performance objectives and expectations are being met or exceeded
- Quickly address and resolve client issues
- Close “quick wins” and set appropriate meetings with Strategic Account Executive for more complex sales
- Conduct regular (i.e. frequency dependent on client needs) meetings, check-ins and other forms of communication to understand potential practice changes, business goals, pain points and general client temperature with DAS Health.
- Partner with SAE team on strategic solutions opportunities in the client base.
- Other Duties and Responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience
- Exceptional communication (oral & written) skills.
- Ability to travel overnight (20%)
- Practical experience working with various levels of management.
- Ability to analyze complex business and technology issues while understanding a prospective client’s solution requirements.
- High energy with strong initiative, unquestionable reliability, and follow-through, self-directed and organized
- Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- On-call availability for after hours, as needed; and works overtime hours to meet project deadlines as required.
- Flexible and adaptable with regard to learning and understanding new technologies, and teaching them to end users at all levels.
- Detailed oriented with professional demeanor.
- Ability to deal with stressful situations.
- Use, protect and disclose patients’ PHI and e-PHI only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
