IT Asset Manager

We are seeking a resource to serve as an experienced IT Asset Manager to establish and mature a comprehensive IT asset management program for the organization that includes planning, monitoring, recording, and reporting software and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance.

Description of Duties:

• Develop and maintain an inventory of all IoT, HAM Pro, and SAM Pro assets, including device and license details, location, and owner information.
• Develop and implement guidelines and procedures for the identification, tracking, and management of all IoT, HAM Pro, and SAM Pro assets, in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
• Develop and implement a strategy for the secure management of all IoT, HAM Pro, and SAM Pro assets, including regular security assessments and the implementation of security controls as needed.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations regarding the management and maintenance of IT assets.
• Establish and maintain an IT asset management playbook that outlines the guidelines and procedures for the identification, tracking, and management of all IoT, HAM Pro, and SAM Pro assets.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to IoT, HAM Pro, and SAM Pro asset management, and implement best practices as appropriate.

Desired Experience

• At least five (5) years of expertise as an IT Asset Manager
• Strong leadership
• Project management skills
• Written and oral communication skills
• Comprehensive understanding of IT asset management best practices and industry standards
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Customer service skills are critical
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is necessary
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science or information systems, and relevant work experience desired. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.
