Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients. This role is a largely client-facing role which will require you to develop and implement long- and short-term strategic plans and projects to build strong, lasting client relationships. The BDR must maintain a thorough understanding of Data-Tech’s product and service line with the ability to present technical solutions to non-technical executives, as well as developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, generate, qualify, process, and follow up on leads to introduce clients to Data-Tech’s premium line of IT solutions.
  • Initiate inbound/outbound sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Effectively communicate and present the features and benefits of Data-Tech’s solutions and value proposition to customers while managing prospect expectations.
  • Initiate and participate in new business pitches with sales team and subject matter experts (SMEs), follow-through with the lead prospect.
  • Create, Present, Negotiate and close deals to meet sales targets
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company, industry regulations, our product solutions changes, innovations, and trends.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with B2B inside sales, lead generation, business development, B2B networking, or appointment setting required.
  • Experience selling IT services, software, SaaS, or Cloud preferred.
  • Demonstrated level of success in converting leads to appointments and proposals.
  • Experience in prospecting and researching accounts
  • Experience with CRM software preferred

  • Familiarity with technology sales and software solutions

  • Skilled in preparing written communications and materials
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with clients effectively

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Must possess the mobility to work in a standard office setting (on site or off), and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, concentration to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and/ or over the telephone. Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to drive a motorized vehicle.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
