We are a fast paced, growing and changing company that needs your help! We have a full time opening for an IT Technician. You will enjoy a wonderful relaxed work atmosphere and the opportunity to join a great team of co-workers! There is also plenty of room for advancement in the future! The IT Support technician will be responsible for managing the companies cloud offerings. These include cloud managed VOIP systems, Office 365, Gsuite, Cloud back up. They will also be coordinating with end users to assist in various needs such as password reset, deployments, and license management. Experience in the following areas are needed to be a good fit for this position: Not all may be required, but you will have to learn these.

  • Hardware and software support experience for company equipment including laptops and mobile devices
  • Management of Active Directory users and security groups; and Microsoft Exchange mailboxes, distribution lists, and limited server troubleshooting * Backup and restoration of systems and data*
  • Evaluate, test, and deploy crucial software and security updates to staff systems
  • Set-up and teardown workstations for company users
  • Familiarity with desktop, notebook, handheld, and server computer hardware.
  • Familiarity with network systems.
  • Manage malware, viruses, and other computer security threats
  • Troubleshoot wired and wireless network traffic issues
  • Support remote VPN connectivity
  • Advanced familiarity with Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity of various office productivity software programs such as word processing, databases, spreadsheet programs, and communications software.
  • Familiarity with various computer peripherals such as printers, monitors, modems and other equipment.
  • Ability to learn to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal. * Effective verbal and written communications skills and effective presentation skills. * Self-motivator, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative. * You may also be required to do the following from time to time*
  • Pull network cable, terminate patch panels and troubleshoot network connectivity issues
  • Climb ladders to install equipment
  • Site surveys in and outside * After-hours scheduled system maintenance; occasional on-call support for staff*
  • Create and deliver IT support training materials for internal and external users * Production support of proprietary software on tablet devices for internal and external users*
  • Team with the Supervisor to test and validate new software products prior to deployment; and annual disaster recovery planning and testing

Required for consideration of this position

  • Current driver’s license and access to reliable transportation; ability and willingness to travel when necessary
  • Progressive experience in the IT Field * Ongoing education it the IT field * A passion to learn new things
  • You must have good communication and collaboration skills, a positive attitude, a good work ethic, be flexible and open to change, have the ability to manage your time well, be organized and willing to work well with our customers as well as your co-workers.
  • You must be legally able to work in the US and you must pass a criminal background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

  • Phone etiquette: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CompTIA A (Preferred)
  • Driver's License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 75% (Preferred)
