Overview
Datawatch Systems, Inc. is seeking a Sales Assistant based out of our Bethesda, Maryland headquarters. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for processing contracts of both new and existing clients and taking incoming calls for both new and existing clients and assigning them appropriately in Salesforce. This position is also responsible for assisting the sales representatives in signing up for networking events and appropriately tracking them and assisting in trade shows, as well as creating and submitting small sales proposals and submitting them on behalf of the sales representative. This position supports the Office Manager and general administration duties will be assigned on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbally).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Some college required, college degree preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce a plus, but not a requirement.
- Must be willing to work well with others and with different personalities.
- Must possess excellent time management skills, and be able to meet tight deadlines, working on multiple projects at once.
