Junior Business Development Representative

Company Overview:
Davis Technology Management is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Business Development Representative to join our IT and AV sales and staffing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to break into sales while gaining valuable experience in business development for IT Managed Services, AV equipment and IT staffing solutions. You'll have excellent mentorship alongside a highly seasoned sales pro.
Responsibilities:
· Dedicate at least half the day to cold calling and prospecting target clients, creating new business opportunities.
· Spend the remaining half of the day knocking on the doors of clients, starting in the Deep Ellum and Knox-Henderson areas.
· Initially, focus on the restaurant industry, identifying potential clients interested in IT Managed Services, AV equipment and IT staffing solutions.
· Research target accounts and gather information to tailor sales approaches.
· Meet or exceed daily targets for calls and client interactions, providing consistent follow-up.
· Document sales activities, results, and client feedback to refine sales strategies.
· Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to learn best practices from experienced team members.
· Build relationships with clients through excellent communication and a consultative approach to sales.
· Be flexible and willing to work onsite at client locations as needed, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
· Strong communication skills and ability to connect with clients both over the phone and in person.
· A driven attitude with a willingness to make high-volume cold calls daily.
· Willingness to travel locally most days visiting target clients in person.
· Comfortable knocking on doors, dropping off information about our product lines and asking for new business.
· Eagerness to learn from an experienced mentor and grow within a sales role.
· Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus but not required. We can train for experience; we need you to bring the energy and drive to generate client leads.
· Clean background check and drivers license required.
· Reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Compensation:
Base salary of $55,000 with strong commission potential and full benefits package
