What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Key Account Manager position at Davlyn Group?
The Global Key Account Manager will generate sustained Davlyn revenue growth by supporting customers such as distribution partners, OEM’s and end users of key industries . This role will define customer technical requirements, provide effective product solutions, and effectively manage key accounts while expanding to new customers in focused areas.

Through our Amatex, Darco Southern, Davlyn Manufacturing, and Norfab businesses, our products and engineering services are used by thousands of customers in over 50 countries to help keep heat in its place, improve safety, and increase productivity. DGH is a leading manufacturer of technical textiles, fabrics and yarns used in the appliance industry, industrial markets, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Essential Functions:

- Maintain and grow existing Davlyn industrial accounts within your assigned territory to achieve company sales and profit targets
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through researched, identified and focused target accounts
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of Davlyn Group products, markets and applications
- Maintaining CRM to make sure all contacts, accounts and opportunities are current and complete
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Sever as a conduit for communication between customers and internal teams (i.e. Engineering, Production, etc.)
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and presentation.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Thorough understanding of technical or scientific products to be sold and customer needs.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Satisfactory problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in, Marketing, Administration or Business Management, Engineering or a like field.
- Preferred: 4 years of experience working with sales/account management for industrial customers.
- Must have the ability and experience of extensive travel for customer interaction up to 65%
- Distribution channel support and /or serving core industrial markets experience preferred
