Pay Scale: $17-$19/hr.
Location: Option to work remotely, or from any of our Western FBC locaitons (Buncombe CFBC, Cabarrus FBC, Iredell FBC, Union, FBC)
Summary
This position provides referral coordination to the BHUCs and FBC’s. Reviews daily census and provides stats to partner agencies in order to facilitate patient care.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensures adequate coverage to maintain required staffing ratios at each FBC, by communicating with center directors about the schedules of their staff members, and coordinating with temp agencies to fill open shifts. Monitors and adjusts the schedules as needed to accommodate changes due to staff vacation leave, sick leave, and call outs/cancellations by both Daymark and temp agency staff.
- Serves as the primary point of contact with the temp agencies regarding scheduling confirmations, shift changes, and onboarding of temp agency staff. Manages the spreadsheet for each temp agency and sends this out daily.
- Provides back up coordination of referrals for FBCs and BHUCs- provides support/guidance to outside referral agencies, including hospital emergency departments, to triage for appropriateness prior to sending on to the referrals coordinator.
- All other duties as assigned by center/regional directors.

Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations. A desire to work with individuals with severe mental illness and substance abuse issues. Ability to triage incoming admissions.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required with a minimum of 1-year experience working in behavioral health, substance abuse, and/or crisis experience preferred. AA degree or a BS/ BA degree in healthcare administration, human services, or related field, and/or certification in workforce management or human resources preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records systems (EHR) and Microsoft Excel. Must be at least 18 years of age and proficient in reading, speaking, and writing.
