The Accounts Receivable Manager leads the Company’s overall credit and collections operations and teams while designing and implementing various processes to improve cash flow and reduce DSO to established benchmarks.

The Accounts Receivable Manager leads the Company’s overall accounts receivable teams while designing and implementing various processes to improve cash flow and reduce DSO to established benchmarks.
Principle Duties:
- Direct all credit and collections functions for DFL and subsidiaries
- Lead, manage, develop, and train team of accounts receivable analysts
- Utilize independent judgement to hire, discipline, and oversee the training of Accounts Receivable department
- Distribute workload by effectively allocating work to the Accounts Receivable team
- Ensure that work distributed is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Establish department and individual KPIs and measurement goals that drive performance to attain company goals and plans
- Hold employees accountable in regard to their actions and attainment of individual and department KPIs and measurement goals
- Monitor, track & enforce department policies, procedures, and goals
- Prepare Accounts Receivable reports and communicate collections issues to senior management
- Provide analysis and feedback regarding the collection issues resulting from internal processes such as sales, pricing, billing, and revenue accounting
- Utilize independent judgement to review credit files and suggest increases or decreases in established credit lines and maintain accurate credit limits
- Complete credit reference forms
- Prepare files for uncollectible accounts for assignment to outside collection agencies
- Participate in process improvement projects, and support other management directives as prescribed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar
- 3 years of related, professional experience with progressive leadership positions
- Experience with accounting software
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience of working with large amounts of data
- Strong analytical and presentational skills
- Strong team management٫ negotiation, and problem-solving skills
