Offering more than 100 certificate, associate and bachelor’s degree programs, Daytona State College (DSC) has responded to the education and workforce training needs in our region for more than 60 years. The college enrolls nearly 25,000 students annually at its seven instructional sites, with graduates serving in critical fields including health care, emergency services, business, education, hospitality, engineering, technology and more.
We currently have an opportunity to join our team of talented and diverse Faculty and Staff as a Supervisor.
Required Qualifications: This position requires an Associate’s degree in business administration or a closely related field and four (4) years of related work experience.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $16.35 with an approximate annual amount of $34,000.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preforms all regional Enrollment Specialist functions, including Admissions, Registration, and Student Accounts. Acts as back-up while working at each campus. Fills in for staff for absences and training.
- Supervises regional Enrollment Specialists, including training, assigning and evaluating work/special projects, counseling, and recommending termination. Provides direction and oversight for the administration of department functions to ensure compliance with College policies and procedures and State/Federal regulations.
- Responds to inquiries and/or concerns from students and staff and the general public to resolve problems or discrepancies. Resolves registration issues as needed.
- Serves as liaison for area of responsibility with students and other departments including Student Accounts, Records, Registration, Admissions, Financial Aid, academic areas, and other offices both internal and external to the College community as needed as directed by supervisor.
- Compiles information and data for periodic and special reports, performs research and retrieval of records, and conducts statistical comparisons of information.
- Attends and conducts staff and other professional meetings to exchange information.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of composing routine/specialized reports, forms, and business letters.
- Skilled in record keeping and organization.
- Ability to maintain records and files.
- Ability to deal effectively with students, parents, and the public.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
- Skilled in computer applications.
