What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at DC Metal Construction?
Overview
DC Metal Construction is hiring a Project Manager that can follow jobs from start to finish. DC Metal Construction fabricates and erects Pre Engineered Metal Buildings, Structural Steel, and does structural work for industrial clients. Work includes meeting clients, reviewing their needs, come up with a plan/idea to remediate issues, put together job estimates, sell jobs, and pre-plan jobs. Being heavily involved in the submittal process.
This will be a combined office / field position. Ideally, this position will not do physical work, but the ideal candidate is willing to do whatever it takes to complete a job.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, including identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering to ensure project scope management, ensuring that all stakeholders' needs are met.
- Provide guidance on conflict management and ensure that all team members work collaboratively towards project goals.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan.

Experience
The successful candidate will have experience in either of the following:
- Pre Engineered Metal buildings.
- Erecting and modifying steel structures.
- Working in processing plants.
- Experience with heavy rigging.
- Bachelor's degree in:
- - Mechanical Engineering
- - Civil Engineering with emphasis in steel structures
- - Construction management

Pay: $70,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
