What are the responsibilities and job description for the PROPANE CENTRAL - Driver/Service position at DCC Propane, LLC?
Propane Central, a central Kansas propane company, distributes propane through its 9 retail districts to residential and commercial customers as well as contractors in their area. Our Driver/Service person delivers bulk propane and assists with service work as needed. The basic functions of the job are performed through the delivery of bulk propane from the district facility in Clay Center, KS to the customer location and to assist with repairs to propane systems. The MISC listing of duties are shared by most employees at our locations and are not inclusive of all duties, tasks and/or responsibilities you may encounter in this job.
DUTIES
BULK DELIVERIES by bobtail to our customers.
LP CYLINDER DELIVERIES as needed.
SERVICE WORK on propane systems.
MISC PLANT DUTIES may include assisting with facility maintenance.
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SALES
QUALIFICATIONS
Current CDL-B license with Hazmat, Tanker and Airbrakes Endorsements. Will assist the right candidate in obtaining necessary CDL within 60 days.
No lifting restrictions
Availability for after hour calls on a rotating basis with co-workers
