Jr. Web Developer

The Jr. Web Developer will be a critical contributor in advancing the DCI digital experience. This position is responsible for supporting the Sales & Marketing team in achieving its strategic business initiatives, works in a fluid, fast-paced environment where the ability to multitask and prioritize requests requires a strong focus on customer service. It involves collaborating with the team, self-motivated and problem-solving with attention to detail and accuracy. Position will be onsite in Newberg, Oregon.

Responsibilities

· Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages.

· Maintain and improve website, apps and integrated technologies.

· Developing based off responsive design for multiple screen sizes for optimized solutions.

· Collaborate with technical team members and web designers to improve usability.

· CMS authoring for both copy and media assets.

· Technology documentation could include functional requirement documents, guides and training.

· Create quality mockups and prototypes.

· Assist developers(internal/external) with coding and troubleshooting.

· Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency.

· Stay up to date on emerging technologies.

· QA and testing all applications.

· Analytics reporting

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
• Hands on experience with markup languages
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• Knowledge of SEO principles
• Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop, and content management systems
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
• BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
