Job Description
Configuration Management of Information Technology/Cybersecurity (CMIT) personnel will work as a member of a team responsible for configuration management of all F/A-18 & EA-18G Integrated Product Team (IPT) information technology/cybersecurity services, infrastructure components, and relevant documentation.
Essential Job Functions:
Identify and manage all Information Technology/Cybersecurity (IT/C) services, infrastructure components, and relevant documentation.
Provide management and control of Certification & Accreditation (C&A) Packages once they have been accredited.
Provide accurate IT infrastructure information to stakeholders, and maintain a detailed record of each system’s configuration. Monitor and control IT infrastructure, and control changes to systems.
Provide a foundation for Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Release Management.
Account for all IT assets, configurations and their relationships, and ensure an audit trail.
Verify the configuration item records against infrastructure.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
High school diploma with one year of relevant experience.
Must already possess a clearance and maintain one for the duration of employment.
Teachable, positive attitude, highly motivated, and team oriented.
Ability to perform, manage, and prioritize multiple related tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Effectively communicate (oral and written) with tact and professionalism.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Desired Skills:
Current security clearance.
