What are the responsibilities and job description for the DNA Collector position at DDC?
We are looking for a part-time DNA Collector to collect DNA on inmates at jails in the Dauphin County area. The collector will be observing DNA cheek swab collections and completing a chain of custody intended for paternity establishment. The ideal candidate would have very high attention to detail and be comfortable working with the public.
The collector will be required to collect at the following jails:
- Dauphin County Prison (Harrisburg)
- Lebanon County Prison (Lebanon)
- Perry County Jail (New Bloomfield)
- SCI Camp Hill (Camp Hill)
There may be more opportunities to collect at other jails in the area. We are looking to hire for this position as soon as possible. You must be able to obtain clearance at each jail facility. Training is provided. Please submit a resume to be considered.
