Job Description


The Store Administrator will provide logistical support to not only the store, but also the general De Beers Jewellers Market in North America. The candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to be not only a process owner but to assist with projects outside of the store that arise in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General store administration (record keeping, filing, scanning, picking/packing/ticketing, supply ordering, vendor interaction etc.) to provide organizational support to ensure operational efficiency on an ongoing basis.
  • Perform quality control, cleaning, and ticketing on high value jewellery items, adhering to all prescribed protocols and procedures.
  • Support the e-commerce business to process and ship orders, provide professional customer service, and provide support for the sales growth and development of e-commerce business.
  • Be a partner to the Public Relations Team as primary logistical in-store contact for merchandise loans to celebrities and major market events.
  • Participate in and assist in reconciliation of stock takes and consignment management.
  • Support all corporate and retail partners as the US flagship location.
  • Assist in cleaning, tidy-up and maintain boutique appearance.
  • Able to work on weekends and holidays.

The base salary range for this position is $65K to $75K USD annually.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Minimum three (3) years working experience in sales or customer service;
  • Previous professional experience in a luxury retail environment;
  • Knowledge of jewellery and its handling;
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word);
  • Knowledge of Xstore POS system a plus;
  • Energetic team player;
  • Meticulous and great attention to detail;
  • Able to reprioritize and pivot quickly according to business needs; and
  • Strong interpersonal skills; both verbal and non-verbal;
