RETAIL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
De Jager Construction, Inc is continuing to grow and is in need of experienced Construction Superintendents. We are a West Michigan based national General Contractor specializing in retail and commercial interior construction. This is an opportunity to join a successful organization with a strong reputation and history in the area of Retail construction. Applicants should be familiar with interior construction and renovation. Nationwide travel is required.
Our field employees are expected to have the ability to manage jobs independently, communicate effectively and represent the Company and our Clients in a positive manner. Superintendents must also be able to understand construction plans and specifications and have the ability to direct onsite personnel to complete projects on schedule and within budget. Superintendents are also responsible for promoting and maintaining jobsite safety and encouraging safe work practices.
Candidate must have proven experience as a construction superintendent, preferably in retail or commercial interior construction. Experience with Microsoft Project, Plan Grid or similar product is beneficial. Candidate must also be OSHA 30 Hour and First Aid/CPR certified or willing to complete certification.
