We are currently seeking a per- diem Patient Care Associate (PCA) to join our team of professionals. This position has shifts consist of 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am on the OB-ED Unit.

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR PATIENT CARE ASSOCIATE CANDIDATES?
- High School diploma or the equivalent.
- Nursing assistant or patient care associate/technician training is preferred.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
WHAT ARE THE PATIENT CARE ASSOCIATE RESPONSIBILITIES?
The OB-ED Patient Care Associate provides patient care activities and services necessary in caring for the comfort and safety of female patients.
- Documents in the electronic medical health records
- Perform EKGs
- Glucose Testing
- Removal of foley catheters/peripheral IV sites
- Coordinate requisition/management of supplies
- Perform receptionist/clerical functions
