Responsibilities -

Financial Strategy:

  • Conduct strategic evaluations and projections of development and production costs, leveraging insights from past releases to optimize future endeavors.
  • Establish and lead the implementation of a sophisticated company-wide accounting system, meticulously categorizing expenses, including studio supplies, materials, contractor fees, marketing costs, store expenses office supplies and anything that is involved with growing and maintaining the brand.
  • Exercise meticulous oversight over apparel costs through comprehensive tracking facilitated by Product Development Reports.
  • Assume a leadership role in the invoice process, managing coding, submission, tracking, and filing. Engage proactively with vendors to address and resolve any billing inquiries.
  • Generate and analyze monthly reconciliation reports, ensuring financial accuracy and strategic alignment.

Clothing Production Management Excellence:

  • Utilize advanced costing documents to craft a highly detailed Product Development Report (PDR) for comprehensive tracking of development costs from sampling to production.
  • Establish a cutting-edge Fabric Development Report (FDR) to monitor fabric orders with precision, covering critical aspects such as PO numbers, ex-mill dates, pricing, MOQs, lead times, vendor stock, content, and weight.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between external vendors and internal creative leadership, orchestrating seamless communications to uphold accountability and efficiency.

Strategic Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Act as the key liaison for all departments, adeptly managing requests to optimize executive time and minimize disruptions.
  • Strategically plan and orchestrate meetings for major milestones, creating detailed calendars and agendas that align with organizational objectives.
  • Effectively track and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring a seamless transition from design to retail with a focus on strategic outcomes.

Customer Service Leadership:

  • Manage B2B/DTC communications, embodying the company's values in engagements with new employees, contractors, and vendors during sourcing, hiring, and negotiations.
  • Lead the strategic hiring process for a Customer Service Coordinator or junior role, anticipating and preparing for increased order volume.

Executive Efficiency Enhancement:

Elevate executive efficiency and team productivity by implementing meticulous tracking and operational strategies, fostering seamless collaboration between departments, and proactively preventing silos and miscommunications.

Starting Salary: $85,000 per year (Depending on Experience)
