DealerPolicy is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our Information Technology department and assist with day to day IT operations. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Serves as the first point of contact for all IT support related issues; performs remote troubleshooting and assistance to all DealerPolicy staff
  • Manage and maintain OS image repository for rapid PC deployment
  • Assist with monthly security vulnerability scanning and remediation
  • Manage and administer various user accounts for all IT supported business critical systems
  • Audit user accounts on a regular basis
  • Assist with network/security configurations and monitoring
  • Identify and evaluate new products and technologies to improve business workflow and user productivity
  • Assist with day to day purchasing activities

Requirements

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work-related experience
  • Proficient understanding of Windows and Mac related Operating Systems. Linux experience preferred, but not necessary
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving related skills
  • Must be able to communicate technical problems in an easy to understand, straight forward manner
  • Strong understanding of cloud offerings such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, MDM solutions, Afi M365 backup, Azure AD
  • On-prem Active Directory administration
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and other related networking tools and concepts
  • Familiarity with tools such as LastPass, OneDrive, and TeamViewer
  • Ability to resolve hardware related issues; perform hardware diagnostics and assist with hardware replacement(s) as needed
  • Strong attention to detail
