Dean’s Professional Services is now partnered with one of the fastest-growing primary care providers in the United States, hiring qualified, Cook to work in a Hospital in the Lufkin, TX area.

A Cook is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cooking for patients and preparing breakfast for retail, requiring the ability to quickly interpret recipes.
- Cook food products for patients, café, catering functions, and doctor’s lounge.
- Maintain high quality, proper temperatures and garnish all plates.
- Coordinates with the Production Chef and Food Service Coordinators to ensure scheduled meal preparation and/or meal delivery.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 or more years of experience.
- Food Handler Certificate
- HealthCare Experience - Preferred
- Prior experience in high-volume restaurants or food service settings - Required
- Fast Food experience is NOT Preferred
Job Details:
- Starting at: $19/hr
- Shifts: 12hr shifts from 5:00 am - 6:30 pm
- Temporary position with a possibility of obtaining future shifts
