Medical Assistant

Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring qualified, patientcare focused Medical Assistants to join our Elite Inventory Pool. 

The Elite Inventory Program serves as a premier talent pool for Dean's Professional Services. Admission to the program is by invitation only, based on stringent qualifications. The journey begins with an open house event, where candidates undergo qualification assessments and receive comprehensive program briefings. 

Participants in the Elite Inventory Program can anticipate several perks and benefits. They are prioritized for job opportunities, receive regular updates on new openings, and may have certain expenses covered, including certification fees. Additionally, they enjoy discounts on uniforms, premium wages, and even complimentary parking for short-term assignments. 

Members of the program must be prepared to step in at short notice for immediate job placements, commit to at least 24 hours per week of availability on assignments, and maintain high responsiveness. Any lapses in attendance or communication are strictly monitored and addressed.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Room patients to prepare for the provider. 
2. Perform laboratory tests and EKGs.
3. Taking vitals, performing diagnostic tests, injections and drawing blood for labs.
4. Collect and chart vitals, patient history, and other screenings.
5. Authorize prescription refills.
6. Instruct patients regarding medications and diet.

Pool Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

• Certification in medical assisting

• Possession of reliable transportation

• Availability for 24 to 32 hours per week

• Experience in a general practice setting, handling approximately 30 patients per day

• Proficiency in venipuncture procedures

• Valid AHA CPR Certification
