What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Coordinator position at DEANS?
DEANS is looking for an Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for managing resources related to employees including creating policies and benefits, expanding training, recruiting & onboarding, payroll, along with employee relations.
This is a newly created position at DEANS which allows for a unique opportunity for you to greatly impact the company as we restructure and adopt a new outlook.

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with HR operations and software tools
- Familiar with payroll processing, certified payroll, prevailing wage payroll
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Computer proficiency with Word, Google's G Suite and the ability to quickly learn a new software program
Responsibilities:
- Address matters related to employment, compensation and benefits, disputes and employee relations.
- Employee Benefit plans (Create or Maintain, Implement, and Educate) and encourage participation
- Hire or assist in the hiring process: Manage in recruitment, marketing, preparation, and interview process. Conduct initial interviews.
- Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
- Formulate methods to improve employment policies and implement new policies
- Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars
- Plan team building events, company parties
- Implement systems to share company goals & growth internally
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
- Create HR projects like collection of employee feedback

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
